The Chef & Somm is an entertaining, interactive, and enjoyable experience!  We’ve hosted groups at our lake house on several occasions and each time they elevate the experience. The Somm does a great job of educating the group to the extent they want to learn. For our fortified wine tasting, the pairing of small bites and wines were perfection from the presentation of the food to how well it paired with the wine. One of our friends was just remembering what a great experience this was last weekend and the event was months ago.  We highly recommend them!

The Chef & Somm conducted an informal wine training  session in our home for us and 8 of our neighbors. We all  had very limited wine experiences. Wow! We were  exposed to the vast knowledge of both The Chef & The  Somm in better understanding what goes into winemaking from the various regions of Europe and the west  coast of the United States. The four different wines and appetizer pairings presented, were over the top. Prior to  the event we were all asked, what was our favorite wine?  We now have many different wine options to choose from 

in the future.

From wineries to restaurants, and general scheduling of the day, he steered us in the right direction so we could efficiently cover as much ground as possible without being overwhelmed. We let The Somm know the varieties of wine we like, and he picked out the best small wineries that we would have never found on our own. The trip was wonderful and would not have been the same experience without his guidance.
